Young adults with disabilities are in a unique position as they get older but cannot fully live on their own. Many young adults find their disabilities to be especially frustrating when they want to be independent, and many parents can struggle to provide a sense of independence to their children with disabilities.
At HLR Living, we want to provide living resources for young adults with disabilities in Pasadena, CA. Read on to learn more about our independent living options.
Young adults with Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy face difficulties that many young adults do not have to deal with when living on their own. We are dedicated to providing freedom, independence, and privacy for young adults with disabilities.
Some of the living resources that we provide include housekeeping and cooking. Depending on your needs and desires, we can come by once a week to help you clean and tidy your space. We can also cook three meals a day that are healthy, fresh, and nutritional.
All of our rooms come with these services included in the cost, as well as utilities. We can also provide furnishings for the room if you need them, or you can bring your own furniture.
We have a few different rooms for you to choose from when coming to stay at HLR Living. For example, you can choose a standard single room where you live on your own but can have visitors at any time. We also offer rooms for roommates. If you missed out on the college dorm experience, you can share a room and save money by splitting the cost of the room with a roommate.
